Many of our patients ask about Invisalign, the most well-known clear-aligner brand. We want to be upfront: we do not carry Invisalign brand aligners at Martin Orthodontics.
We offer Clarity Aligners instead. Both treatments straighten your teeth the same way: custom-molded clear trays that shift your teeth over 12 to 18 months. You wear them about 22 hours a day and remove them to eat.
Clear Aligners vs. Invisalign: How They Compare

- Cases we treat: crowding, gaps, mild-to-moderate overbites and underbites, the same range Invisalign handles.

How Clear Aligners Work
Your smile is unique, and your treatment should reflect that fact. That’s why we offer multiple brace options for you to choose from! We’ll help you decide which may be the best fit for you and your lifestyle.
Clear aligners work by first molding to your teeth, then slowly shifting the teeth over time to make them straighter. You’ll do this over a series of “trays.” So, depending on how much works need to be done, we will provide you with a new tray once your teeth have reached the position the current aligner is in. On average, you can expect anywhere from 15 to 30 trays during your treatment.
What’s great about clear aligners is that you have no restrictions in eating. When you want to eat, you can simply take the aligners out and then put them back in once you’re done. Their clear, thin design makes them invisible as you wear them, allowing you to feel confident throughout the process!
